Paintings the week of 6/30

This week in Jason's class we practiced drawing trees so I have no paintings from his landscape class. For Carolyn's class, we painted in Corciano on Tuesday, July 1st. The first painting of the door was done near the duomo in town. Before I got it finished, cars starting parking in from of the door. Later the church bells started ringing a different tune from normal and people started coming to the church. A man came up to us and told us there was a funeral, and asked us to move because we were set up where the hearse needed to park. I moved to another spot and did the second painting of the window. I could paint in Corciano frequently and never get bored with it!

On Thursday, we went to a town called Castigline Del Laro. It is on the second largest lake in Italy called Lake Trasimeno. The first one is from the lake looking up at Castigline. The second one is of a boat that was tied up near the shore.
I was very tired this day, so my paintings aren't the greatest. I didn't get to bed until midnight because we went to Sienna for the Palio. There's a separate posting about our Sienna trip.
